ADHD Treatment

Private ADHD Medication, Titration & Ongoing Care

Already diagnosed with ADHD and looking to start, adjust or continue your medication?

DoseDirect provides UK-wide private ADHD medication titration, prescribing, dispensing and ongoing medication management for adults who already have a formal ADHD diagnosis.

Whether you have not yet started ADHD medication, have started treatment but are not yet stable, are already stable and want to transfer your care, or have had a shared care request declined by your GP and need to continue treatment privately, we have a pathway designed for you.

ADHD prescribing and dispensing in one place

DoseDirect is a registered UK pharmacy as well as a prescribing service, which means your ADHD prescription and medication can be managed under one roof.

There is no need to arrange a private prescription with one provider and then find a separate pharmacy to dispense it.

Once your prescription has been clinically approved and your medication has been paid for:

This gives you a simpler, more joined-up private ADHD medication service from consultation through to delivery.

Choose your ADHD treatment pathway ADHD Titration Package - £349.99

Suitable for patients who have not yet started ADHD medication, or who have started treatment but are not yet stable.

Our ADHD titration package provides structured clinical support while we work with you to find a medication and dose that is effective, well tolerated and appropriate for you.

The package includes:
Medication costs are charged separately.

Once your treatment is stable, you can move onto our ADHD Stable Care service for ongoing prescribing and monitoring.

Pay-As-You-Go ADHD Titration - £149.99 per appointment

Suitable for patients who have not yet started ADHD medication, or who have started treatment but are not yet stable and prefer to pay one appointment at a time.

Our pay-as-you-go ADHD titration service gives you the flexibility to access clinician-led medication initiation and dose adjustment without paying for a full titration package upfront.

Each appointment includes a review of:

Private prescription writing is included where clinically appropriate.

Medication costs are charged separately.

Once your treatment is stable, you can transfer onto ADHD Stable Care.

Transfer to ADHD Stable Care

Suitable for patients who are already stable on ADHD medication and want DoseDirect to take over their ongoing private prescribing and medication management.

This may include patients who have completed titration with another provider, patients who want to move their ongoing treatment to DoseDirect, or patients whose GP has declined a shared care agreement and who need to continue their ADHD medication privately.

If you completed ADHD titration elsewhere and are stable on your current treatment, you may be able to transfer your ongoing care to DoseDirect without repeating a full titration pathway.

Has your GP declined ADHD shared care?

Shared care arrangements are not guaranteed and individual GP practices may decide that they are unable to take over prescribing.

If your GP has declined shared care but you are stable on your ADHD medication, DoseDirect may be able to take over your ongoing private prescribing, monitoring and medication supply through our ADHD Stable Care service.

This allows you to continue receiving treatment privately without needing to return to the beginning of the ADHD treatment pathway.

Your eligibility will be assessed individually and we will review your diagnosis, treatment history, current medication and monitoring before accepting responsibility for ongoing prescribing.

If your treatment is suitable for transfer, you can then move onto our ongoing ADHD Stable Care service.

ADHD Stable Care - £59.99 per month

Our ADHD Stable Care service is designed for patients who are established and stable on their ADHD medication.

Your membership includes:

Medication costs are charged separately.

If your GP has declined shared care, you can remain under private ADHD management with DoseDirect provided ongoing treatment continues to be clinically appropriate.

If we review your treatment and feel that you are not yet clinically stable, we may recommend that you enter one of our ADHD titration pathways instead.

Not sure which ADHD service you need?

Choose the ADHD Titration Package if:

You have already been diagnosed with ADHD but:

  • You have not started ADHD medication yet, or
  • You have started medication but have not yet found a stable dose or treatment

The £349 package is best suited to patients who want a structured titration pathway with three appointments included.

Choose Pay-As-You-Go ADHD Titration if:

You need ADHD medication titration but would prefer to pay £149.99 for each appointment rather than pay for a full package upfront.

Choose Treatment Transfer if:

You are already stable on ADHD medication and would like DoseDirect to take over your ongoing private prescriptions, monitoring and medication management.

This can include patients whose GP has declined shared care and who need to continue receiving their ADHD medication privately.

Your first transfer appointment costs £149.99. Once accepted onto ADHD Stable Care, ongoing membership is £59.99 per month.

Why choose DoseDirect for private ADHD medication?

Prescribing and dispensing under one roof

Your consultation, private ADHD prescription and pharmacy dispensing can all be managed through DoseDirect.
This reduces the need to coordinate between separate clinics, prescribers and pharmacies.

Fast medication dispatch

Once your prescription has been approved and your medication paid for, medication paid for before 12 noon on a working day is dispatched by Royal Mail the same working day.

Payments made after 12 noon are dispatched the following working day.

Continue treatment after an external ADHD diagnosis

You do not need to have been diagnosed by DoseDirect.

We can consider patients who have received a formal ADHD diagnosis from another suitable healthcare provider, subject to review of your diagnostic and clinical information.

Start treatment even if you have not taken ADHD medication before

If you have a confirmed ADHD diagnosis but have not yet started medication, our titration service can assess whether medication is appropriate and support you through the process of finding a suitable treatment and dose.

Transfer your existing ADHD treatment

If you have already completed titration elsewhere and are stable, we can assess whether your ongoing private ADHD prescribing and monitoring can be transferred to DoseDirect.

Continue privately if shared care is declined

If your GP has declined a shared care agreement, this does not necessarily mean your ADHD treatment has to stop.

If you are stable on medication and your treatment is suitable for transfer, DoseDirect may be able to provide ongoing private prescribing, monitoring and medication supply through ADHD Stable Care.

Remote ADHD appointments

Our ADHD medication service is delivered remotely, giving patients across the UK access to private ADHD medication support without needing to travel to a clinic.

Clear pricing

Our clinical fees are published upfront so you can understand the cost of your treatment pathway before you begin.

Medication is charged separately because medication costs vary depending on the medicine, strength and quantity prescribed.

What do I need before starting?

DoseDirect does not currently provide ADHD diagnostic assessments.

To use our ADHD medication service, you must already have a formal ADHD diagnosis from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

As part of your clinical assessment, we may ask you to provide:

We may request additional information where necessary to confirm that treatment can be provided safely.

What happens after I apply?

1. Complete the appropriate ADHD questionnaire

Choose the treatment pathway that best matches your current situation and complete the clinical screening questionnaire.

2. Upload your supporting information

You will be asked to provide relevant documentation such as your ADHD diagnosis and identification.
Patients transferring existing treatment may also be asked to provide evidence of their current medication and treatment history.

3. Book your ADHD consultation

Once you have completed the appropriate pathway, you will be directed to the relevant appointment calendar.

4. Meet your clinician

Your clinician will review your diagnosis, medical history, current symptoms, treatment goals, monitoring and medication history.
If you are already taking ADHD medication, we will also review how well your current treatment is working.

5. Your treatment plan

Where treatment is clinically appropriate, your clinician will agree a treatment plan with you.
This may involve:

  • Starting ADHD medication
  • Adjusting your current dose
  • Continuing your existing treatment
  • Changing medication
  • Requesting further information or monitoring before prescribing

6. Private prescription and medication

Where a prescription is clinically appropriate, DoseDirect can issue your private ADHD prescription and dispense your medication directly.
Medication costs are paid separately from your clinical service fee.
Medication paid for before 12 noon on a working day is dispatched by Royal Mail the same working day. Payments made after 12 noon are dispatched the following working day.

7. Ongoing ADHD medication management

If you are undergoing titration, we will continue to review your treatment until an appropriate stable treatment plan has been reached.
Once stable, you can move onto ADHD Stable Care for ongoing private prescribing, monitoring and annual medication review.

Private ADHD medication care without starting again

Already having an ADHD diagnosis should not mean having to repeat the entire process every time you change provider.

DoseDirect is designed to provide a straightforward pathway for adults who already have an ADHD diagnosis and need help with the next stage of treatment.

Whether you need to start medication, complete titration, transfer stable treatment from another provider or continue privately after a shared care request has been declined, our aim is to provide continuity through prescribing, monitoring and dispensing within one service.

All treatment and prescribing decisions are made following an individual clinical assessment.
Completing a questionnaire, making a payment or booking an appointment does not guarantee that a particular medication will be prescribed.
